Terms of Service

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse the Service.

YouTube Content: All YouTube videos and their content remain the property of their respective owners. We do not claim ownership of any YouTube content. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of the Service complies with YouTube's Terms of Service and applicable copyright laws. We do not verify the legality of the content you process.

AI-Generated Summaries: You retain ownership of your input data (e.g., YouTube playlists). We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the AI-generated summaries for personal or internal business purposes. You may not redistribute, sell, or publicly display these summaries. We retain ownership of all algorithms, models, software, and technology used to generate such summaries.

Service Content: All content, features, and functionality of the Service are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses. We disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

AI Output Disclaimer: AI-generated summaries are automated outputs and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions. You are solely responsible for how you use such information. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or usefulness of any AI-generated content.

We are not responsible for any YouTube videos, their content, or their availability. Videos may be removed, made private, or become unavailable at any time.

We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or business opportunities.

We shall not be liable for any loss of data, inaccurate AI outputs, reliance on generated summaries, or unavailability of third-party content.

Our total liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

These limitations apply regardless of the legal theory on which the claim is based, whether contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or otherwise, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

11.1 Plans and Limits. The Service may offer a free tier and one or more paid subscription plans (each, a "Paid Subscription") that provide higher usage limits and/or additional features. Current plan details (including limits and pricing) are displayed in the Service at the time you subscribe and may change over time.

11.2 Pricing. As of the Effective Date, a Paid Subscription may be offered for $8 per month. If the Service displays different pricing at the time of purchase, the displayed pricing will control for that purchase.

11.3 Payment Processor. Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor (e.g., Stripe) (the "Payment Processor"). We do not store your full payment card number. Your payments may be subject to the Payment Processor's terms and privacy policy.

11.4 Auto-Renewal and Authorization. By purchasing a Paid Subscription, you authorize us (through the Payment Processor) to charge your selected payment method in advance on a recurring basis (e.g., monthly) until you cancel. Your Paid Subscription will automatically renew unless you cancel before your renewal date.

11.5 Billing Communications. If you purchase a Paid Subscription, we may send you emails related to billing, receipts, renewals, and subscription status.

11.6 Cancellation. You can cancel your Paid Subscription at any time through your account settings (or another in-product method we make available). Unless otherwise stated in the Service, cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period and you will retain access to paid features until that period ends.

11.7 Refund Policy (No Proration). All fees are non-refundable and non-creditable except where required by law. We do not provide prorated refunds or credits for partial billing periods.

11.8 Failed Payments. If we do not receive payment (for example, due to an expired card or insufficient funds), we may retry your payment method and/or suspend, downgrade, or limit access to paid features until payment is received.

11.9 Chargebacks and Disputes. If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute, we may suspend or restrict your access to the Service while the dispute is being resolved. We encourage you to contact support at support@tryrobin.ai before filing a dispute so we can try to help.

11.10 Taxes. You are responsible for any applicable taxes, and we may collect taxes when required.

11.11 Plan and Price Changes. We may change plan features, limits, or pricing at any time. Unless otherwise required by law, changes generally take effect at the next renewal for existing subscribers.

11.12 Account Deletion vs. Subscription Cancellation. Deleting your account may not automatically cancel an active Paid Subscription. To avoid future charges, you must cancel your Paid Subscription before deleting your account (or contact support for help).

You may terminate your account at any time through the Settings page. Upon termination, we will delete or de-identify your account data as described in our Privacy Policy. We may retain limited records (such as billing and transaction records) as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms, suspected fraudulent activity, or abuse of the Service.

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall be conducted in San Francisco, California, and judgment on the arbitration award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction.

Class Action Waiver: You waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration. All disputes must be brought in the parties' individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class or representative proceeding.
